Bosco veranda in Ireland
Our best-selling veranda: a polycarbonate roof on a powder-coated aluminium frame. Leave it open over the patio, or close it in with glass sliding doors.
The veranda we fit most
The Bosco is the veranda Apex Verandas sells most: a polycarbonate roof (clear, opal, ultra clear or solar control) on an aluminium frame. It comes 4m to 7m wide (about 13ft to 23ft) and 2.5m to 4m deep, and units join together for wider runs.
You choose the look: a round or Victorian gutter, half-round or square posts, and one of four frame colours. Add LED lighting, a side wall or glass sliding doors, now or later.

Common questions
Tap a question to open it.
What roof does the Bosco have?
Polycarbonate, in clear, opal, ultra clear or solar control. Opal cuts glare and keeps it cooler underneath; clear lets in the most light.
How big can a Bosco be?
It comes 4m to 7m wide and 2.5m to 4m deep. For a longer run, units join together.
Can I add glass doors later?
Yes. The glass sliding doors fit new verandas and most existing ones, so you can start open and close it in later.
Do I need planning permission?
It depends on the size, height and position, so check with your local council before you order. We will give you the exact measurements to ask about.
What is the difference between the Bosco and the Giallo?
Both have a polycarbonate roof. The Giallo has a steel-reinforced gutter that spans 6m on two posts, and a straighter, more modern look.
