Apex Verandas supplied and fitted the glass pergola on DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland, broadcast on RTÉ One on Sunday 4 October 2026. The build transformed Ramona and Oran’s new home in Co. Kildare, and our fitters worked on site through the nine-day build alongside the DIY SOS crew and volunteers.
What we built
A 5m x 4m Pinela glass pergola in grey, 2.5m high, attached to the back of the house off the kitchen. It has a glass roof and frameless glass sliding doors on three sides, so the family has a covered outdoor kitchen, dining and lounge area they can open right up in good weather and close in when it turns. The frame is powder-coated aluminium.
